We join with those who mourn the loss of life,  the injuries, and the disruption of lives caused  by the attacks  against Washington,  DC, and  New York, N.Y.    All those effected -- the brave people who helped in rescue efforts, those involved in America's response to terror and in the war with Iraq-- are in our thoughts and prayers.

Driving Directions

From the South:  Take US-101 north to the Vandenberg AFB/CA-1 exit shortly after the Gaviota Tunnel.
<<Left<< (west) on CA-1 toward Lompoc for about 18 miles until the road dead-ends at Ocean Avenue, just north of Lompoc.
<<Left<< (actually staying on CA-1) on Ocean Avenue to "H" Street.
>>Right>> (actually still staying on CA-1) on "H" Street through the rest of town, until you get to Lompoc-Casmalia Road.

From the North:  Take US-101 to the Betteravia Road exit on the south side of Santa Maria.
>>Right>> (west) on Betteravia Road to the fifth stop light, Broadway (CA-135).
<<Left<< on Broadway, proceeding south out of town.
^^Continue^^ as CA-135 road merges with CA-1.
>>Bear Right>> on CA-1 a few miles later, when the two highways separate and CA-135 goes east toward Los Alamos.  Follow the sign for Vandenberg AFB.
^^Continue^^ on CA-1 until you get to the stoplight at the Main Gate.  Cross Lompoc-Casmalia Road.

All Travelers:
Special arrangements have been made so that folks who do not have DOD decals can skip the Visitor Center.  Proceed to the entry point and tell the guard that you are going to the "VSAC Security Seminar."  If you need a map, the guard will give you one.  However, remember that all drivers must have available current (1) valid drivers license, (2) vehicle registration, and (3) proof of insurance.
^^Continue^^ on California Ave., bearing left at the Minuteman III missile display, to the second stoplight at Nebraska Ave.
>>Right>> on Nebraska Ave.
>>Right>> shortly thereafter into the large parking lot of the Pacific Coast Club, site of the Seminar.
