Made it!
The topo of the area around LaCumbre Peak. After a "false summit" where Gibraltar Road joins Camino Cielo (and where I finally crested above the cloud layer) I rode from "right to left" on the topo across to the saddle at Angostura Pass and then back up the last 500 feet to the top.

 The TerraTrike does mountains!

. . .and was still light enough to be lifted over this locked gate which allowed me to ride up to the peak itself.

As the old saying goes, there may be snow on the top, but there's still fire below . . . I mean, the San Rafael Mountains to the north of the Santa Ynez range were snow covered.

And there's the fire lookout here at LaCumbre Peak.
Overlooking the cloud-covered city of Santa Barbara and the Pacific Ocean down below, I felt like I was on top of the world!
