Here are 3 (very) Quicktime Movies of a day at the
HPVA races
The HPVA races were held at the Olympic
Velodrome at Cal State Univ., Dominguez Hills during the So. California
Velodrome Association Keirn Challenge on July 10th, 1999. It was
great fun and a good time was had by all. And while I came in
last, I was in fast company: the winner (Tom Traylor, riding Critical
Mass II ) was doing laps at 37 mph. Some other racers were (not
in order) Bill Volk in Blue Heavy Metal, Fred Lenk in his Rotator,
Paul Gracey in Black Mariah-Lightning P40, Chris Broome in ?).
